At check-in, I asked for a room on the ground floor, as I hate the lifts in Cairo - they're small, I'm claustrophobic, and power cuts are a thing here (although I'm sure the hotel has generators) - the receptionist happily complied, even though the language barrier meant he didn't grasp that my reasoning was my hatred of lifts (which is fine, as I got what I wanted). My flight arrived much later than it should have, so I asked for a late check-out, as I wanted a proper rest, and again, the receptionist happily obliged, and didn't charge me for it. The room was comfortable - I loved the bed. There were lots of bottles of water in the room, which was appreciated. The bathroom was large, and has both a bath and shower.

Amazing ! Everything was perfect, from the recovery at the airport, to the end of our trip. All excursions were organised by the concierge, Ahmed Hassan, who is absolutely offering a very high level of service. Thanks to his implication and coordination, our stay was fantastic and my wife has enjoyed a perfect surprise birthday. Congratulations to him and to the whole staff ( restaurants and spa ) for making an incredible guest experience. We will come back !!

Overall experience and provided service were exceptional. Staff at all levels are giving off warm welcomes and ensuring that services are being provided exceptionally well to the guests. Housekeeping services are fast to respond. Room dining services are exceptional from the ordering to the service and the food is great! Kudos to Ahmed Saber- the waiter in an open-air restaurant- for providing exceptional service!
